About UseLUNCH is a new concept in food delivery. We aim to bring you the freshness and quality of food you would order and wait for in a cafe, but with the speed and convenience of takeaway and delivery - the best of both worlds. We like to think that our shop at 206 Waltham Road and our unique online cafe are fresh and contemporary, just like our food - and our customers! Our foodYou won't find any packet mixes in the eLUNCH kitchen. We love freshly prepared food that is full of great flavours so we start with fresh fruit, vegetables and meat, bunches of fresh herbs, cheeses, nuts, spices, free-range eggs - the same things we'd cook with for ourselves at home. We also bake our own white and stoneground wholemeal breads for sandwiches and rolls, with no addtives or preservatives. We think you'll find our food wholesome, flavoursome, honest and delicious! Our specialty is a range of pasta dishes which feature our handmade fresh pasta and freshly prepared sauces. You will also find gourmet salads, fruit salads and fantastic sandwiches on our lunch menu. We have given careful thought to providing inner city workers with a range of lunch options that are not only wholesome and convenient, but also exciting - a highlight in your day. Office catering
The simplicity of our unique online ordering system lends itself to catering orders as well as individual lunch orders, and the finger food featured on our catering menu has wide appeal. Our catering options suit those who want to improve on cheap 'heat and eat' savouries, while appealing to a wide range of tastes with food that is really enjoyable and easy to eat. Our coffeeMmmm...espresso! The quality of our coffee is very important to us, so we use a superb espresso blend roasted in Christchurch for eLUNCH by Izon Coffee. It's also important to our supplier and to us that coffee growers in the developing world get a fair deal, so all of our coffee is certified fair trade and organic. (We also use fairtrade hot chocolate and are stocking an increasing range of fairtrade products in our shop.) We take pride in making your coffee the way you like it, so talk to us about your preferences. Who are we?We're Phil and Andrea Hotter, and eLUNCH is an idea we've been pondering for some time! Phil is the manager and chef at eLUNCH, and Andrea handles the website and promotional side of things. We've got experience in the hospitality industry and love cooking for our friends and family, but eLUNCH is a new challenge for us.
